 Calendula Salve
Calendula has been known to reduce itching from bug bites,
to bee stings, takes the burn out of a sunburn, stop a cold sore form completing
it's cycle, dry active acne lesions, or help them complete their cycle faster, and
I have used it for my Lab's "hot spots." Since Calendula is the edible
marigold, and the ingredients are natural oils, I have used it on the dogs for several
rashes and hot spots. I myself when making wreaths, put several fingers in the glue
pot. After causing a major shock of reality, I ran to the sink, ran cold water over
the glue, then put my fingers in the Calendula Oil, when the burning feeling left,
took the glue off, and I did not even have any burn or blisters. When it happened
again, I even poured Calendula Oil onto ice cubes, and left my fingers soaking until
the burning sensation was gone. I cannot praise this herb enough.
Contains:
- Calendula oil, (made of soaking the petals of the flower
in Sweet Almond Oil in the sun) for several weeks), Jojoba oil, lanolin, beeswax,
cocoa butter. Carrier oils of: safflower, grapeseed, corn, peanut, apricot, Jojoba,
sweet almond oil.
