sprobin.gifLavender and Clove Headache Pillow

A small rectangular pillow 4"x2" inches which contains lavender buds, whole cloves, and essential oils of lavender and clove. The pillows are of various colors and patterns.

When not in use keep in a zip lock bag to help retain the fragrance. When needed, place pillow along side your face, avoiding your eyes due to the essential oils, and inhale the fragrance. This combination works well for sinus and stress related headaches.

sprobin.gifLavender and Flax Seed Eye Pillow

A medium rectangular pillow ranging from 7 to 81/2 inches x 2/1/2 inches, which contains lavender buds and flax seed. This is used for relaxation. No oils are used, the flax seed is used to help the lavender fill the orbs of your eye. We use this for relaxation after yoga as well. After a long day and you are attempting to go to sleep, place the pillow over your eyes and relax. You will be surprised how well it works. When not in use keep in zip lock bag.

sprobin.gifAnti-Moth Sachet

A square 4"x4" inch pillow that contains any of the following, pennyroyal, sage, feverfew, lavender, Sweet Annie, Mugwort, plain wormwood, tri-colored wormwood, and silver king petals. It has essential oils of pennyroyal, lavender, sage, thyme, peppermint, and spearmint. Place among your wools when putting them away for the winter, or use them in your drawers during the winter. I like the fragrance much better than moth balls, and does not linger on your garments. When not in use keep in zip lock bag.

sprobin.gifCalendula Salve

Calendula has been known to reduce itching from bug bites, to bee stings, takes the burn out of a sunburn, stop a cold sore form completing it's cycle, dry active acne lesions, or help them complete their cycle faster, and I have used it for my Lab's "hot spots." Since Calendula is the edible marigold, and the ingredients are natural oils, I have used it on the dogs for several rashes and hot spots. I myself when making wreaths, put several fingers in the glue pot. After causing a major shock of reality, I ran to the sink, ran cold water over the glue, then put my fingers in the Calendula Oil, when the burning feeling left, took the glue off, and I did not even have any burn or blisters. When it happened again, I even poured Calendula Oil onto ice cubes, and left my fingers soaking until the burning sensation was gone. I cannot praise this herb enough.
